Dealing with sin in securing God's blessings

 TEXT: Heb.12:1

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"

Sin is the act of disobedience that robes a believer from accessing his/her  blessings..

NB: the destruction attached to sin is Always beyond the pleasure we behold.

Sin seems to be the easiest way to success yet it is the easiest way to the downfall of every one that engages into it

Sin attractive from the outside,  yet destructive in the inside. Gen. 3:6

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." -  Prov. 16:25

Sin lies at the end of disobedience. So is destruction at the end of sin.  Provide.  10:16
Disobedience is the only force that Satan uses to separate you from God.
Note: disobedience is the mother of sin. -  Gen. 3:4 - 24

YOU ARE THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD

All humans are made in the image of God.” We hear this phrase often, usually indicating that human life is valuable. But what does the phrase “image of God” actually mean? What Is the Image? We find the phrase “image of God” in the first chapter of the Bible. When God first created humans, He made them in His “image” (צֶלֶם, ztelem ) and after His “likeness” (דְּמוּת, demoot ). These words describe how humans in some way reflect the form and function of God. In order to understand the specific meaning, it will help to look at their context in Genesis 1:26-28: Then God said, “Let us make man in our image , after our likeness . And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image , in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitfu...

Math 6:1-8/ 16-22 and 25-34 say, "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.[a] 5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrit...
